Feb. 11 LAKE ELSINORE Tire collection
The city of Lake Elsinore will hold a free community tire collection event for city residents from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 11, at 521 N. Langstaff St., at the Public Works Yard. City residents can drop off up to nine tires — passenger, light truck and neighborhood electric vehicle only — per trip. Rims must be removed and tires from businesses will not be accepted. Proof of residency will be required.
Feb. 11 MENIFEE Bulky item drop-off
The city of Menifee and Waste Management are hosting a free bulky item drop-off event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 11, at Mt. San Jacinto College, 28237 La Piedra Road. Photo ID or proof of residency required.
Feb. 11 MURRIETA ‘Til Death Do Us Party
Made Local Market will host a Valentine’s Day sip-and-shop ‘Til Death Do Us Party event from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, for adults 21 and older at 24771 Washington Ave. The event will feature food trucks, Tap Truck Temecula, lawn games, dancing and shopping. Cost is $25 and includes one drink ticket, one Valentine’s Day cookie and access to photo ops and shopping. Feb. 12 TEMECULA Sunday Funday at Vail HQ
Vail Headquarters will host its weekly Sunday Funday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with local vendors, train and stagecoach rides, family activities and a DJ on the Vail Headquarters Stage. Feb. 12 LAKE ELSINORE Mornings on Main
The city of Lake Elsinore and Made Local Market hold their weekly Mornings on Main Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, beginning Feb. 12, at City Park, 184 Main St. Shop for locally sourced produce and handmade treasures at the farmers market, and stroll down Historic Downtown Main Street to take in the antique shops, novelty stores, museum and fine dining. Feb. 13 MURRIETA Dog Tales
The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnership with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading-education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.
Feb. 13 TEMECULA Teen program
Youths in grades 7 to 12 are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Forever Flowers teen program from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, 30600 Pauba Road. Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, The free program will have participants use paper to create flowers. Feb. 14 WILDOMAR Coffee talks
The monthly Wildomar Coffee with the City series returns at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 14. Held the second Tuesday of the month, the free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce

Made Local will hold its first Menifee Trading Post night market of 2023 featuring local artists and makers, food and live entertainment from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Mercato Del Sole, 30141 Antelope Road. Feb. 18 HEMET Cleanup Day
The city of Hemet and CR&R Inc. are hosting a free community cleanup event for city residents from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Hemet Public Library, 300 E. Latham Ave. Acceptable items include large items such as sofas, chairs, refrigerators and other household items, green waste and electronics. Feb. 24 MENIFEE Art-A-Faire
The city of Menifee will host a free evening of art displays by local artists and live music from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, 29995 Evans Road. In honor of Black History Month, organizers will celebrate artwork that honors notable Black men and women. Ongoing VALLEYWIDE Blood donations
Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. LifeStream hosts mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collections at its regular locations.
