BOYS BASKETBALL Division I Today:

5 p.m., St. Augustine High School

(3) La Jolla Country Day (22-7) vs. (1) Mission Bay (23-8)

La Jolla Country Day had an easy time with Patrick Henry (74-42), edged Mission Hills (48-44) and needed double overtime to oust No. 2seeded Del Norte (61-52) in the semifinals. Mission Bay clubbed Orange Glen (79-23), beat Poway (63-54) and edged San Diego (68-62) in the semis. The Torreys and Bucs played in November with Mission Bay winning 61-43.

Division II Today:

5 p.m., Mira Mesa High School

(2) Lincoln (28-2) vs. (1) Otay Ranch (21-10)

Lincoln has rolled through the playoffs, beating San Dieguito Academy (72-54), Vista (71-46) and then University City (67-54) in the semifinals. Otay Ranch beat Foothills Christian (82-29), Eastlake (62-51) and Scripps Ranch (65-61) in the semifinals. Otay Ranch defeated Lincoln 70-54 in the second game of the season.

Division IV Today:

5 p.m., Otay Ranch High School

(8) San Pasqual (17-13) vs. (3) Imperial (19-8)

San Pasqual defeated Canyon Hills (55-45) in the first round, then upset No. 1seeded Vincent Memorial (56-52) and No. 4 El Capitan (65-51) to reach the finals. Imperial topped Southwest-El Centro (80-38) and St. Joseph’s Academy (62-54), then edged No. 7 Kearny (67-66) in the semifinals. San Pasqual beat Imperial (67-39) in January.

Open Division Saturday:

6 p.m.; Cathedral Catholic High School

(3) Montgomery (25-5) vs. (1) St. Augustine (26-4)

Montgomery, ranked No. 29 in the state, beat Santa Fe Christian (69-60) and upset No. 2 Carlsbad (56-48) in the semifinals. Defending champion St. Augustine, ranked No. 6 in the state, beat Mater Dei Catholic (88-62) and San Ysidro (83-67) to reach the championsh­ip game again. The Saints beat Montgomery (78-65) in the first game of the season.

GIRLS BASKETBALL Division I Today:

7:30 p.m., St. Augustine High School

(2) Imperial (26-4) vs. (1) Mater Dei Catholic (20-9)

Imperial edged No. 3 Rancho Bernardo 38-36 in the semifinals while Mater Dei was eliminatin­g No. 5 Cathedral Catholic 63-31 in the other semi. Imperial has an eightgame winning streak.

Division II Today:

7:30 p.m., Mira Mesa High School

(2) Torrey Pines (24-7) vs. (9) Oceanside (21-6)

Torrey Pines edged No. 3 Mt. Carmel 63-62 in a semifinal game. Torrey Pines beat Oceanside 46-38 on Jan. 10 and 68-53 on Jan. 27. Oceanside ousted Francis Parker from the playoffs 57-43. Oceanside has won eight straight games.

Division IV Today: JOHN MAFFEI

7:30 p.m., Otay Ranch High School

(3) Central Union (16-14) vs. (1) Palo Verde (20-9)

Central Union downed No. 6 Patrick Henry 44-33 in the semifinals, while Palo Verde defeated No. 4 University City 71-65 in the other. Central Union has a three-game winning streak, while Palo Verde boasts a six-game winning streak and beat Central 46-42 back on Dec. 13.

Open Division Saturday:

2 p.m., Cathedral Catholic High School

(7) Del Norte (20-9) vs. (1) La Jolla Country Day (27-3) Del Norte upset No. 3 Westview 63-62 in the semifinals, while La Jolla Country Day eliminated No. 5 Mission Hills 73-47 in the other semifinal, stretching its winning streak to nine games. La Jolla Country Day is seeking a third Open title in the last four seasons.

BOYS SOCCER Division II Today:

4:30 p.m., Bonita Vista HS

(2) Steele Canyon (17-4-2) vs. (1) La Costa Canyon (15-4-4)

After a bye, Steele Canyon beat San Ysidro (3-1) and Hilltop (1-0) to get to the title game. La Costa Canyon had a first-round bye, then beat Chula Vista (3-0) and San Diego (4-0).

Division IV

TERRY MONAHAN

Today: 4:30 p.m., University City HS

(2) Morse (15-3-3) vs. (1) La Jolla Country Day (16-4-2) After a bye, Morse beat Gompers Prep (7-6 in PKs) and Brawley (3-2 in OT). LJCD had a first-round bye, then slipped past Mission Bay (5-4 in PKs) and Pacific Ridge (3-2).

Saturday:

(3) St. Augustine (15-5-1) vs. (1) San Dieguito Academy (20-2-4)

St. Augustine beat Del Norte (4-0) and San Pasqual (3-2 in OT) to reach the finals. San Dieguito Academy hasn’t allowed a goal, beating Rancho Bernardo (4-0) and Poway (1-0).

Division I Saturday:

2 p.m., Carlsbad 5 p.m., Torrey

Pines HS

(5) Point Loma (9-10-2) vs. (2) Sweetwater (11-8-3)

Point Loma beat Escondido (6-1), Coronado (3-2 in PKs) and upset No. 1 Torrey Pines (1-0) in the semifinals. Sweetwater had a first-round bye, then beat Carlsbad (2-1) and Westview (3-0) to reach the title game.

GIRLS SOCCER

Division II

Today: 7:30 p.m., Bonita Vista HS

(4) Francis Parker (14-5-1) vs. (3) Patrick Henry (19-3-1) Francis Parker edged Mt. Carmel (2-1) and Canyon Crest Academy (1-0) in the semifinals. Patrick Henry beat Granite Hills (3-0 in OT) and No. 2-seeded Otay Ranch (2-0) in the semis.

Division IV Today:

7:30 p.m., University City HS

(6) High Tech San Diego (11-10-1) vs. (1) Clairemont (18-2)

High Tech beat Mount Miguel (5-1) in the first round, then upset No. 3 Kearny (2-1) and No. 2 Montgomery (1-0) to reach the finals. Clairemont scored six goals in two games, beating Morse (3-1) and Escondido (3-2).

Open Division Saturday:

5 p.m., Carlsbad HS

(6) La Costa Canyon (8-4-5) vs. (1) Westview (14-3-4)

La Costa Canyon pulled a pair of upsets, beating No. 3 Torrey Pines (1-0) and No. 2 Cathedral Catholic (2-1). Westview beat Del Norte (1-0) and San Marcos (4-1) to reach the finals.

Division I Saturday: Pines HS

2 p.m., Torrey (7) West Hills (17-9-1) vs. (1) Carlsbad (7-5-8)

West Hills hasn’t allowed a goal in beating Poway (3-0), No. 2 Coronado (2-0) and No. 6 Point Loma (1-0). Carlsbad had a bye, then beat Rancho Bernardo (2-1) and Mission Hills (2-1).
