RAMS WIN TO REACH QUARTERS
John Tonje led Colorado State with 20 points and Isaiah Stevens scored the gamewinning jump shot with 2.7 seconds left as the Rams defeated Fresno State 67-65 on Wednesday in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament.

Tonje also contributed five rebounds for the Rams (1517). Stevens scored 19 points.
Isaiah Hill led the way for the Bulldogs (11-20) with 22 points and six assists.
UNLV 78, Air Force 70 (OT): Elijah Harkless scored a career-high 35 points, 11 in the overtime, as UNLV (19-12) advanced in the MW tourney. Jake Heidbreder led the way for the Falcons (14-18) with 24 points and nine rebounds.
New Mexico 87, Wyoming 76: Jaelen House had 28 points for New Mexico (22-10) in an opening-round victory in the MW tournament. Hunter Maldonado finished with 36 points for the Cowboys (9-22).
Stanford 73, Utah 62: Brandon Angel’s double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds led a balanced attack that lifted Stanford (14-18) over Utah in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
Branden Carlson had 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead Utah (17-15), which has lost six straight.
Colorado 74, Washington 68: Julian Hammond III scored a career-high 21 points and Luke O’Brien made a goahead 3-pointer with 59.8 seconds left to help Colorado (1715) win the opening game of the Pac-12 Tournament.
Cole Bajema and Keion Brooks each scored 16 points for Washington (16-16).
Washington State 69, Cal 52: TJ Bamba scored 17 points, DJ Rodman had 10 points and 11 rebounds and Washington State (17-15) extended its winning streak to seven with by beating California in the Pac-12 Tournament.
Monty Bowser, averaging just 3.4 points, scored a career-high 19 for Cal(3-29).
Conference finals
Colgate 79, Lafayette 61: Keegan Records scored 21 points and top-seeded Colgate (26-8) won its third consecutive Patriot League championship.
Texas A&M-CC 75, Northwestern State 71: Jalen Jackson scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (23-10) won the Southern title.
