Toastmaste­rs offers help with presentati­ons Partnershi­p gives job seekers free assistance

Voyagers Toastmaste­rs, one of San Diego’s Toastmaste­r clubs, will hold a special meeting for startups from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Available via Zoom, this free program will include informatio­n about the communicat­ion skills needed to launch a successful startup, as well as a special “elevator pitch” evaluation section.

The program will include training designed to improve communicat­ion and leadership skills, developed through the Toastmaste­rs Internatio­nal organizati­on. The San Diego Workforce Partnershi­p offers a weekly Learning Drop-in Hour from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays at 1111 Bay Blvd., Suite E, Chula Vista. Arrive an hour early and attend the free Resume Workshop at 1 p.m. March 21, delivered in Spanish.
