Toastmasters offers help with presentations Partnership gives job seekers free assistance
Voyagers Toastmasters, one of San Diego’s Toastmaster clubs, will hold a special meeting for startups from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Available via Zoom, this free program will include information about the communication skills needed to launch a successful startup, as well as a special “elevator pitch” evaluation section.
The program will include training designed to improve communication and leadership skills, developed through the Toastmasters International organization. The San Diego Workforce Partnership offers a weekly Learning Drop-in Hour from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays at 1111 Bay Blvd., Suite E, Chula Vista. Arrive an hour early and attend the free Resume Workshop at 1 p.m. March 21, delivered in Spanish.
