- KEVIN ACEE

Batter’s box: At Peoria, Trent Grisham hit his third and fourth home runs of the spring, giving him the team lead with one Cactus League game remaining. He is batting .277 (13-for-47) on the spring. … Luis Campusano singled twice and is batting .276 (8-for-29) with three home runs. … Fernando Tatis Jr. was 0-for-3, as his batting average dropped to .300 (12-for-40). … Nelson Cruz was 1-for-3. He has four hits in his past nine at-bats.

Balls and strikes: Michael Wacha threw 88 pitches over five innings in his final tuneup for the season. He allowed a run on two hits in the first inning and three runs in the fifth on three singles, a walk and two sacrifice flies. Wacha is expected to start Saturday in the season’s third game. … Steven Wilson allowed a run on two hits and walked two in 12⁄3 innings. … Tim Hill struck out all three batters he faced. Extra bases: Rougned Odor, who has been exclusively an infielder in his nine-year major league career, subbed in for Tatis in right field.
