James Kevin Toomey

Passed away on August 19, 2018 at the age of 59 after an 18-month battle with brain cancer. Beloved husband of Margot, loving and devoted father to Courtney and Connor, cherished son of Carol and the late James Toomey, and brother to Sandi Trembley, John Toomey and Matt Toomey (Jeanine). He is also survived by his motherin-law Patricia Pettibone, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jim was born in San Francisco on April 20, 1959. He attended El Camino High School in So. San Francisco and continued to live in the Bay Area for the remainder of his life. Jim was an avid fan of the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors. He enjoyed trips to Lake Tahoe and the Pacific Northwest, but most of all loved spending time with his sons. Friends may visit Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City where a celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society in Jim’s name. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
