It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” Thomas Jarmusz announces his passing from pancreatic cancer on September 17th 2018 at the age of 87 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Paul (Mika), Ruth, Liana (Rick) and Nicole (Eru) and grandkids Kyle and Audrianna (Steven) and great grandkids Brayden, Troian and Alister. Sister Alice Wesley and nephews Dan (Kathy), Jim (Cindy) and Randy (Patty).

Bob was born in Buffalo, New York. He spent two years in the Naval reserves and four years in the Navy as a photograph­er during the Korean War. He was married to his first wife Helen for 28 years and married to his second wife Gail for 19 years until her death in 2004. He was also a companion to Tish Showen until her death in 2013.

He received a Bachelor’s degree from Chico State University and went on to receive a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. He worked for Ventura and San Mateo Counties as a Psychiatri­c Social Worker.

The family would especially like to thank the many caregivers for Bob during his recent illness, and his many dear friends. The staff at the San Mateo Mission Hospice House were very comforting to Bob and his family and friends during his last days.

A memorial celebratio­n of his life will be held, October 13th at the Congregati­onal Church of San Mateo 225 Tilton Avenue at 3:oo pm.
