BAAITS (Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits)

Usually during this last week of Pride month, we’re very busy at BAAITS ... doing things like opening up the trans stage, or the stage at the Dyke March, or the main stage at SF Pride with prayer . ... When we offer prayer, I think we are grounding it not only in the land but also in history. At Pride our prayers are about equality, about being the same as everyone else, and having the history of being a part of this much larger family.
