A Trump run with Kanye West? That’s the ticket
rumor has it that Kanye West is getting a nod to help bring in the brothers and sisters, which could Vice President Mike Pence very nervous.
The Republican ticket of Trump president and West VP would give Trump the absolute platform he needs to say, “See, I got one.”
Movie time: In my walk, people are asking me when I’m going to return to movie reviews.
I say I’ll start reviewing again regularly when there are movies to review.
One person yelled to watch “The Outpost” on my TV. I did, and I’m not going to take that person’s advice again.
“The Outpost” is a movie on the Afghan war, and it’s almost as depressing as the hourly report on the number of infections and deaths in this pandemic. “The Outpost” cost me $7.99 and 123 minutes of my valuable time.
Stick with the classic movie selections. They are better than most of today’s offerings, and they are free.
And if you are into sports, the “Last Dance” documentary on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls is a mustsee. Food time: Some suggestions for how to enjoy your takeout.
First off, stick with the basics. Avoid anything that looks experimental.
Second, account for the coolingdown effect for food meant to be eaten hot.
More than anything else, the travel time, from the kitchen to the bag, to the motor scooter or bicycle and to your house needs to be considered.
The best way to ensure a good meal is to order your dish, pick it up, and sit outside the pickup location and eat it.
Following these rules not only gets me a better meal, it allowed me to lose 3 inches in the waistline.
Another rule to follow is get out of your workout clothes.
The stretching ability of workout wear only masks the weight you may be putting on.
