Jon Rahm shot a 4underpar 68 to move to 12under after three rounds for a fourshot lead over Ryan Palmer (73) and Tony Finau (73) at the Memorial in Dublin, Ohio.

Tiger Woods shot 71 and was 14 shots back. Joel Stalter of France closed with a 2under 68 for a twoshot victory in the European Tour’s Euram Bank Open in Ramsau, Austria. Davis Riley shot a 5under 67 to win the TPC San Antonio Championsh­ip for his second Korn Ferry Tour title of the season.

Motor sports: In Newton, Iowa, Josef Newgarden led nearly wiretowire to win the IndyCar race at Iowa Speedway, giving team owner Roger Penske a sweep of the doublehead­er and his fourth victory across three series this weekend. On Friday night, Simon Pagenaud came from the last starting spot before holding off Scott Dixon in the final laps to win the opener at the 0.875mile trioval. Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Truck Series race at Texas, getting the victory in his second race of the day after a postrace disqualifi­cation took away an apparent Xfinity Series win. It was a 12 finish for Busch’s team, with the owner finishing 0.777 seconds in front of 19yearold rookie Christian Eckes. In the early race, Busch finished nearly a second ahead of Austin Cindric before failing a postrace inspection because the left rear was too low. Cindric was declared the winner of that race, his third Xfinity win in a row. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the pole for Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix.

Obituary: Rick Reed, whose career as a big league umpire spanned three decades, died Thursday. He was 70.
