545 Point Lobos Avenue, S.F.

Thank you, to the owners of the Seal Rock Inn Restaurant, for 46 years of “Fine Ocean View Dining,” epic omelettes, allday breakfasts and Greek lunches just a few steps away from the Pacific Ocean. The restaurant may be revived, but it will be without the Psarras family, who ran the institution for 46 years. Andy Psarras told Eater San Francisco that a rent hike, not the coronavirus shutdown, was the reason for closure. His father, Emmanuel “Mike” Psarras, ran the restaurant for 30 years until his death in 2004. One of the best places for locals to take friends and family from out of town, the family behind this reliable spot will be missed.
