An early peek at next year’s S.F. Fringe Festival
Normally at this time of year, we voracious theatergoers would be perusing the cornucopia of offerings from the San Francisco Fringe Festival, plotting which bit of glorious weirdness we might see in which 90minute time slot.
Though the Exit Theatre has postponed the festival to 2021, the doughty Tenderloin company is offering a “Fringe Sneak Peek” online in the meantime.
Each evening is set to feature a different lineup of interviews and performance excerpts, both from artists who were scheduled to appear in this year’s Fringe and from past winners. Among the lineup are Resonance’s frontwoman Radhika, above, who last year gave an ethereal, yet barbed, miniconcert in “Why My Unicorn Left Me,” and Regina Evans, whose “52 Letters” fuses performance and ritual to honor the full humanity of sex trafficking victims.
Fringe Sneak Peek:

7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13; Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 17-19. Free. Streaming on the Exit’s Facebook page through Sept. 30. www.theexit.org
