Three Twins had a lot of marketing gimmicks, including a $3,333 sundae (that came with a cellist who would play whatever you wanted while eating). Neal Gotlieb built a massmarket business with three stores — in Larkspur, San Francisco and Berkeley — that employed dozens and filled grocery shelves with flavors that included mint confetti, dad's cardamom and land of milk and honey.
