Thank you, Stork Club, an Oakland bar where the Pabst Blue Ribbon always tasted the best. There’s a chance Stork Club could pop up somewhere else — the bar and music venue has moved before in its 70plusyear history. But it will be hard to match the ambiance, with the Barbie dolls in boxes tacked to the walls, a second room with a single pool table and a third room with the stage where hundreds of punk rock and other outsidethemainstream acts found a welcoming home. Stork Club closed on May 19 with an announcement on Facebook.
