Thank you, Clarke’s Charcoal Broiler, for 75 years of wholesome, oldschool, leaveyourdietathome food that kids, parents and grandparents could enjoy together. The oldest restaurant in Mountain View when it closed in April, Clarke’s was a welcome spot for high school banquets, birthday parties, and one of the first Mountain View spots college students wanted to visit when they returned home from school. The Blach family wrote a goodbye on their website, announcing that they were closing because of the extended shelterinplace. “We appreciate each and every one of you for supporting us through the years! … Stay healthy and we wish you all the best.”
