Kings overcome Jokic’s 50

Harrison Barnes had 28 points and seven rebounds to help offset a careerhigh 50 points by Nikola Jokic, and the Kings beat the visiting Nuggets 119114 on Saturday to complete a season sweep.

Barnes made five 3pointers and shot 10for16 overall. The former Warrior scored 13 points in the third quarter, and made a pair of free throws with 0.5 seconds remaining in the game.

Jokic just missed a 47th career tripledoub­le. He had 12 assists and eight rebounds and scored 23 points in the fourth quarter.

Thunder 120, Timberwole­s 118: Darius Bazley made the tie-breaking layup with 1:16 to play after Oklahoma City had blown a 23-point lead at home. The Thunder scored a team-record 83 points in the first half, then had 13 in the third quarter. Minnesota came all the way back to take the lead in the final period before Oklahoma City recovered. Pelicans 118, Grizzlies 109: The Pelicans’ Brandon Ingram had 27 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in New Orleans.

Zion Williamson capped a 29-point night with a game-sealing dunk.

Lakers 135, Pistons 129: LeBron James scored eight of his 33 in the second overtime, Anthony Davis added 30 points and host Los Angeles beat Detroit.

76ers 124, Nets 108: Joel Embiid scored 33 and Ben Simmons had 16 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to beat Brooklyn in Philadelph­ia.

Knicks 110, Trail Blazers 99: Elfrid Payton and Julius Randle scored 22 points apiece to power New York over visiting Portland.

Bulls 118, Magic 92: Zach LaVine bounced back from a poor performanc­e a night earlier and scored 39 points as visiting Chicago routed Orlando.

Spurs 111, Rockets 106: DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points and San Antonio held off a late charge in Houston.

Hawks 132, Raptors 121: Trae Young had 28 points and 13 assists, and Clint Capela finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds as host Atlanta topped Toronto.

Bucks 124, Cavaliers 99: Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 24 points and 11 rebounds, Jrue Holiday scored 20 and visiting Milwaukee beat Cleveland for the second time in two days.
