The sweetest person you’d ever meet, Margaret Farr, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2020 with her children by her side. Born in Ravenna, Ohio she lived many places including; Alaska, Santa Barbara and San Francisco before settling in Sonoma County. Margaret was preceded in death by her former husband and good friend John Farr. She is survived by her son Michael Farr and daughter-in-law Jennie Farr; daughter Wendy Kahl and son-in-law Michael Kahl; son Jon Farr and grandchildren Zach and Sara, Dustin, Valerie, Kaitlyn, and Kody. She has many family members across the country and also shared life with many friends who will miss her dearly.

Margaret loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had a big, beautiful heart and touched so many with her kindness, laughter and generosity. She enjoyed every holiday and occasion, sharing time with family and friends as well as dressing and decorating for every occasion. She created the best gift bows ever! Ever ready with a camera, Margaret also captured these moments and created photo albums and scrapbooks to share and treasure. She won multiple Blue Ribbons at the Sonoma County Fair for her scrapbooks that captured both family and historical times surrounding them.

Margaret enjoyed traveling, taking many trips and cruises, including a cruise through the Panama Canal. She enjoyed a good party and could dance the night away! People met along the way were friends made for a lifetime. Margaret worked hard at everything she did, and enjoyed the work and people she was with at Marshall-Hale, Shriners, and Kaiser, again making life-long friends along the way. She was a proud volunteer throughout her life, from supporting or leading parent groups and boosters for her kids’ school and sports to a wide range of community activities. Hers was a great spirit, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. “Dance, as though no one is watching - Love, as though you’ve never been loved - Sing, as though no one can hear you - Live, as though heaven is on earth”

In love and Friendship
