The Very Reverend Father Gregory Ofiesh, born Raymond Ofiesh, passed away surrounded by his family at his Millbrae home on August 11, 2021, two days before his 90th birthday. Fr. Our beloved sister Karen passed to heaven on June 28th 2021. Karen Louise Carper was born on May 16th 1966. The fifth child blessed to John Lee and Shirley Ann Carper, Karen’s childhood years were spent in Phoenix, Arizona where she attended Grace Brethren school. At the age of seven, Karen and her Mother moved to San Francisco, California before settling in Marin County. Karen attended White Hill middle school prior to obtaining her high school diploma from Mewah Mountain high school. After high school, Karen moved back to San Francisco where she worked as a sous chef before joining her Mom in creating and building a successful skin care salon and product business. Karen was a loving, dedicated and loyal daughter and an incredibly supportive sister. She was a kind, thoughtful and fun loving Aunt to her two nieces and three nephews, always remembering their special occasions. A nurturing animal lover, she was never without the companionship of a dog or cats. Karen is admired for overcoming the many obstacles and hardships that came early in her life. Karen, our “little sister”, you are forever loved and we miss you dearly. We are comforted knowing that you are in heaven with your Mom, Dad and brother, surrounded by the light and love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
