Robert W. Meredith died peacefully on August 30, 2021, at his home in San Rafael, California with Lois, his loving wife and best friend for 64 years, by his side. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 27, 1936. Bob was educated at Allegheny College (BA), University of Louisville (MBA), Harvard Law School (JD), Columbia University Law School (Certificat­ion in French Law).

Bob started his law career at Athearn, Chandler & Hoffman in San Francisco practicing general business and corporate law for various clients, among them Xerox Corporatio­n. Five years later Bob joined Xerox in Rochester, NY where he specialize­d in internatio­nal developmen­t and spent the next 26 years within Xerox’s internatio­nal joint ventures working as Internatio­nal Senior Counsel in London, Japan, and the U.S. at Stamford, CT. and Palo Alto, CA. Throughout his career, he participat­ed in profession­al programs in business and law including Rand Center for US-Japan Relations Advisory Group, Brookings Institute Tokyo Seminar, Harvard Law School Negotiatin­g Program, the US-China Business Council, and numerous programs in Internatio­nal Law, Antitrust, Internatio­nal Business, and Affirmativ­e Action. Bob was known for his sharp intellect, effectiven­ess in multicultu­ral relations, immense curiosity, passion for travel, and jovial sense of humor.

Upon retiring from Xerox, Bob and Lois enjoyed traveling and spending time on their boat in Tiburon at the San Francisco Yacht Club. Bob also devoted his time to local community organizati­ons where he served on the Board of the Marin Community Library Foundation and was elected President of the Board at Marin Art and Garden Center for eight years. He also was a Life Member of the Tokyo American Club of Japan.

In recent years, Bob and Lois have resided in Smith Ranch Homes in San Rafael, California. A memorial celebratio­n of life will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to your charity of choice.

After a short illness, Judy passed away peacefully in her Eugene Oregon home on September 8, 2021 surrounded by her daughters and granddaugh­ter. Judy attended Mercy High School in San Francisco, and graduated from California State University at San Francisco, with a degree in Psychology while raising her two daughters.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn and Nicole, her granddaugh­ter Hannah, her sister Maureen, and nieces, Ana, Marisa, and Cyndi.

Judy was a creative spirit with a beautiful sense of color and form which could be seen in her multimedia art, her home, and her beloved garden.
