Peacefully entered her eternal home 11/19/21. Marian, aka “Mars”, is survived by her beloved children: Craig and his wife Carol, Dodee, Jeanine and grandchild­ren Sarah, Jacob, Marie & Caleb. Marian was: born in SF Dec 13, 1934, grew up in San Mateo, attended Park Grammar School, SMHS, SJSU, taught 1st grade in Belmont, married her beloved Clyde Rossi 1/17/59. Lived in Westlake, raised 3 children in Glenwood S.R., onto Ignacio, enjoyed last yrs. @ Smith Ranch S.R.

Having a passion for life & people, Marian loved: playing golf, bridge, dominos, gardening, taking pictures, traveling (6 continents). Her talents were endless: artistic (several paintings), best creative bday & theme party planner ever, athletic, famous for Cheesecake, Aebleskive­rs & hors d’oevres. Marian’s Community & Volunteer Activities were plentiful :

St. Luke Pres. Church for 55 yrs.; Member of Marin Golf & Country Club since 1966; Money Bags Investment Club 50 yrs.; Captain of Women’s Assoc (1985); Member of Northgate group since 1978; Founded, along w/two other parent volunteers, the S.R. Girl’s Bobby Sox Softball League in 1971; Original member of Glenwood Guild of Sunny Hills 1966; President of Alpha Phi’s numerous times; Stay Home Mom w/all the kids activities (Cub Scouts, Camp Fire Girls…) to name a few.

A “Celebratio­n of Life” Service for Marian will be held at St. Luke Presbyteri­an Church, S.R., 12/23/21 @ 1:00p. Marian’s request, please wear colorful attire (her favorite was chartreuse green & purple). If you feel led, the family would appreciate donations in her name to St. Luke Pres. Church, By the Bay Health (Hospice), or your favorite charity. To God be the Glory !
