MARY JANE PABALAN, 79, of Hayward CA, passed away Friday December 10, 2021. Mary Jane, daughter of the late Edward John and Irene Vivian (Snyder) Mcintyre, was born on February 18, 1942 in Glen Cove, NY.

In the summer of 1966, Mary Jane Left New York and moved cross-country to California. It is here where she met a kindred spirit and her soulmate, Peter Pabalan. The two wed in Sebastopol, CA on May 22, 1971, and settled in San Francisco, CA. The loving couple celebrated their Golden 50th Anniversary this year.

In a career spanning over fifteen years, in the bustling Financial District of San Francisco, Mary Jane was an Executive Assistant with Price Waterhouse, Andersen Consulting, and finally retired with Accenture in 2007.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Peter C. Pabalan, her sisters Elizabeth Myers and Susan Hammond, and her favorite feline, Lion. She is also survived by 3 nephews, 3 nieces, 6 grandnephews, 6 grandnieces, 2 great-grandnieces, and 1 great-grandnephew.

She has given the best lives possible to many rescued and feral cats throughout her lifetime. The love that they gave her was reciprocated tenfold, and each had the best 9 lives any mouser could ask for. She enjoyed reading, cooking, rooting for the San Francisco Giants, and connecting with family. She sent out greeting cards without fail on birthdays, holidays, or even just to say hello and make you feel special. Mary Jane will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, for having the best sense of humor, for the love that she shared with all of us and she will have a place in our hearts forever.
