Guido Aldo Andrighetto
Originally from Weed, California, passed away after battling a case of pneumonia at his home in Millbrae, CA on the morning of May 16th, 2022. He was 86.
Guido’s passing comes less than 1 month after the death of his wife, Gina and is preceded by the early passing of his grandson, Anthony Andrighetto. Guido Aldo Andrighetto was born in Weed, CA. The fifth of 7 sons, he leaves behind his brothers: Gary, Alvin, and Louie, and joins his brothers Bruno, Mario, and Marino.
Guido will be remembered by his 4 children: David, Steven, Domenic, and Lisa (Mullins), his 14 grandchildren, and 7 greatgrandchildren.
While a strong man and dedicated worker, he often expressed that his greatest satisfaction was providing for his family and enjoying their company.
After returning from military service in Italy, he and his wife of 64 years supported each other as Guido worked tirelessly at the Golden Gate Produce Terminal. He will be remembered for the immense pride and joy he took in his work, and the unwavering honesty and character that he extended to both his friends and colleagues; between whom he often made no distinction.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at St. Dunstan’s Church in Millbrae on Tuesday, May 24 at 10am followed by his burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos. A reception for friends and family will be held, at Cetrella located at 400 Main Street in Los Altos.
