Jacqueline Ball

November 23, 2008 - November 11, 2022

-

Jacqueline Karena Ball was born on November 23, 2008 in San Francisco to John and Pamela Ball. She passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022 at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco.

Jacqueline was strong, tenacious, loving, and funny. She loved hugs, movies, and music especially Coldplay, the Hamilton Soundtrack, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. She loved swimming pools, fresh air on trike rides and seeing the Golden Gate Bridge. Most of all, Jacqueline loved her family, her friends and the amazing teachers, specialists and caregivers who helped her throughout her life.

Jacqueline knew her mind and made sure you knew what was on it. She lived her life on her own terms and taught everyone she met about acceptance, inclusion, persistence, defiance and above all LOVE. She left us as she lived her life with grace, beauty, and love.

Jacqueline is survived by her parents, her beloved older sister, Audrey, her Grandmother, Barbara Sklar, uncles, aunts, cousins and the countless caregivers and specialists who touched her life and the family dog, Ike.
