Passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 16, 2014 at the age of 84.

Barbara attended Lawton Elementary School and Lincoln High School in San Francisco. From there she worked for the Pacific Bell Telephone company for 10 years. She enjoyed summers with her family at the Russian River, entertaini­ng family and friends at home, especially Christmas Eve for over 30 years, traveling, and rooting for the San Francisco Giants.

Survived by her brother Leslie Moran, daughter Catherine Rossman (Norman), granddaugh­ter Elisabeth Rossman, granddaugh­ter Irene Rossman (Warren Gelula Sanders), two great-grandchild­ren David and Charlotte Gelula, sister-in-law Bernice O’Brien, nieces and nephews, Patrick, Teresa, Kevin and MaryAnne Moran, Nancy Winters (Dan), Susan Oestreich, Jeffrey Moran, Mary Kathleen Luttrell (Steve), Leslie Adams (Maurice), Janet Lindeman, Kathleen Von Lehr, George “Cap” O’Brien, Sue O’Brien, Michael O’Brien, many cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and their families and many cousins across Canada.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Aloysius I. O’Brien, Jr., parents Frederick John Moran and Ida Winifred Kirkpatric­k Moran, sister Donna Moran Burdett, brother Frederick John Moran II, nephew Frederick John Moran III, brother-inlaw George Marron O’Brien, sister-in-law Sister Mary Thaddeus O’Brien.

Friends and family may visit Thursday from 3-9pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Service at 7pm at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30am at St Anne of the Sunset Church, 850 Judah Street, San Francisco. Reception to follow.
