WARMING TREND
With the lazy days of Indian Summer upon us, now’s the time to give summery dresses and florals another outing. Burberry’s Christopher Bailey drew on the early 20th century Bloomsbury group of English artists and writers, who met at the Mediterranean gardens and estate of Charleston, for a fall 2014 collection with floral prints, bohemian scarves and handpainted shoes and accessories. The look is right at home here, whether you’re heading up to Wine Country, the Marin Headlands or other rustic reaches of the Bay Area for a day trip or weekend getaway to enjoy the brief interlude before true autumn. Just don’t forget those layers and sweaters in fall hues for twilight and evenings when the sun goes down.
