It is the rare rivalry that can be defined by a singular event. A singular moment in time.

But that’s the case with the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns, two teams forever connected by one simple play. One snap of the ball, with their seasons on the line.

With the Raiders traveling to Cleveland this weekend to take on the Browns, it’s as good a time as any to relive the epic playoff game these two teams contested on a frozen field alongside Lake Erie, in minus-36 wind chill conditions, 35 seasons ago.
