In a week when millions of Americans had a religious experience that didn’t involve a new Apple product, we also saw: Two new Apple products. Sigh. Three products drawing tons of attention: the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus and the oy Volkswagen.

Instagram announced that it has more than 400 million active monthly users — up from 300 million nine months ago. More than 75 percent of users are outside the U.S., the company said in a blog post. Instagramm­ers share more than 80 million photos per day.

The first of a planned 100 bitcoin ATMs branded with the name of former boxing champion Mike Tyson appeared in Las Vegas, the New York Post reported. Bitcoin, Vegas, Tyson ... What could possibly go wrong?

Public transit app Moovit said it is the No. 1 public transit app in the world, with over 28 million users in 58 countries — more than any other third-party public transit app. The company said its platform lets users map entire transit systems, meaning it can even help people in communitie­s that don’t have readily available public transit informatio­n.
