‘Wrestling Jerusalem’
In a solo performance, Aaron Davidman tells a personal and complex story of identity, social justice and history. He gives voice to 17 characters, which illuminate one of the greatest conflicts of our time — the protracted dispute between Israel and Palestine. Despite the serious subject, Davidson’s telling brings humor and the hope of peace. On Saturday, both the performance and the audience will be shot for a feature film. 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Marines’ Memorial Theatre, 609 Sutter St., San Francisco. $50-$125. (415) 392-4400, www.cityboxoffice.com.
