With the fiery full moon — a lunar eclipse, yet! — in fiery Aries, the prospect of a September affair looms large. Vibes are ripe for fresh beginnings. Added to this, Mars the heavy hitter raises Jupiter’s ante in Virgo. Aries (March 20-April 18) Aries is the rebel, the adventurer, the pioneer of the cosmos. Now with that lucky old sun eyeballing the full moon in your sign, it’s truer than ever. Do not ask for whom the bell tolls — just pick up the phone. It’s karma calling. Taurus (April 19-May 19) Pay special attention to your dreams (waking or sleeping) tonight when the full moon blasts your “house of drawn shades.” As with Cancer, your week contains nittygritty perils and pleasures. Gemini (May 20-June 20) You walk on eggs as both the sun and moon issue a creativity call. Tonight’s moon suggests that the issue involves your home; the sun indicates that your reputation is also a concern. Cancer (June 21-July 21) The sun illuminates your root cellar, just as the full moon triggers a yen for major achievement. It’s all very well to please the old folks at home or the young chickadees who refuse to fly on their own — some of the time — but remember, you have a life of your own. Leo (July 22-Aug. 22) Just as the sun spotlights personal communications, the full moon blasts travel issues. Not good. The wild card is lucky Jupiter, a welcome guest in your money house. Play that sucker for all it’s worth. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Tonight's lunar eclipse has special meaning for Virgins. You are beginning to feel the full thrust of your Jupiter transit. This is one glorious year that won’t be back for 12 years. Take time off tonight to focus on what you really, really want. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) The sun works magic in your sign — oh, yes, happy birthdays are in order. A momentous moon shines bright in your one-on-one sector, indicating beneficial contracts. More good news: Saturn is out of your counting house, not to return for 30 years. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Your fire-and-ice persona makes for a rich secret life. But now, with the sun blazing down on your house of drawn shades, that cover’s blown. That darker side that delights in sensuality, the occult and the mysterious is what being a Scorp is all about. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) Expect another foray into the minefield you like to call your love life. Why must relationships be so complicated? It’s time now to address both lapsed friendships and long-term goals. Saturn, the karma keeper, is watching, so don’t delay. Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 18) Is love really better the second time around? Some practical souls would close the book once and for all, yet how commonsensical do you want to be? Given the creative spin you’re in, romantic reveries could find their way into novels, poems ... Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 17) Ready or not, Sunday’s moon serves as your clarion call. The time’s come to play the charm and chat card. Surely you’ve discovered that the twitter is mightier than the sword. The one thing you can always trust is your ability to please. Pisces (Feb. 18-March 19) Tonight’s lunar eclipse serves as a warning. Your reflective side appreciates down time, while the rest of you longs for a walk on the wild side. Treat both “sides” to a private pleasure — something you need not share with the world.
