George Campbell Wilson, Jr.

-

Died at his Petaluma home on September 15, 2015. He was 82 years old. George, known to many as “Camp”, died as he had wished—peacefully and surrounded by his family and dogs.

George worked as a Jungian psychoanalyst in Petaluma, Mill Valley, and San Francisco for nearly thirty years. In retirement, he became a Master Gardener, joined the Episcopalian church, and served on the board of The Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, CA. Most of all, George enjoyed spending time on his property. He loved his animals and his garden and tried his hand at many crafts. He was a voracious reader.

George is survived by his wife Gail, sons David, Geoff, and Jack, daughter Ann, and grandchildren Gemma, Madeline, Jackson, and Georgia.

Memorial services will be held at The Bishop’s Ranch later this year.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hospice by the Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur, CA 94939 or The Bishop’s Ranch, 5297 Westside Rd., Healdsburg, CA 95448.
