Virginia M. Everson passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015, in Walnut Creek at the age of 93. She was retired from the City and County of San Francisco after serving 25 years as a Registered Nurse. Virginia was a devoted parishione­r of St. Mary Church in Walnut Creek; an avid reader; enjoyed attending theater; and above all loved spending time with her children, grandchild­ren, and great-grandchild­ren. She had a special relationsh­ip with each and every one of her family members.

Virginia is survived by her sons Martin, John, Dan, Tom, Tim, and Fr. Joe; daughters, Joan, Jane, Mary, and Theresa; as well as 15 grandchild­ren, and 9 great-grandchild­ren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Everson, JR. in 1994.

A combinatio­n Viewing, Rosary, and Mass will be held at St. Mary Church, 2039 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek, CA 94595 on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 commencing at 10 AM. Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA. Those wishing may send memorial donations in Virginia’s name to Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, P.O.Box 305, Maryknoll NY 10545-0305
