Judee Robinson Sethi passed away in the presence of her family on January 21, 2016. Born in San Francisco on December 15, 1944, Judee graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart and attended Lone Mountain College for Women. She earned her R.N. from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. During her 48-year career, she worked in ICU, neonatal ICU, surgical and orthopedic outpatient surgery. Judee met her husband Raj, a thoracic surgeon at St. Joseph’s Hospital, San Francisco in 1967, and they married in 1968. They moved to the Los Angeles area in 1974.

She was an adventurou­s traveler and nurtured family bonds that bridged America and India throughout her lifetime.

Judee is survived by her husband Raj, her children Mona (Rick), Asha (Chris), Paul (Christina), and Mark (Nadia). She was blessed with nine beloved grandchild­ren. Judee is also survived by loving siblings: Anne (Jim), Mary, Lucy (Greg), David, S.J., Joseph, Peter (Rosemary), Tony (Lea). She was adored by her many nieces and nephews.

Judee’s greatest treasures were her family and many cherished friends. Her extraordin­ary hospitalit­y was her pleasure. Her gift was to make people feel special which was why her home and presence were a comfort to so many. Her Catholic faith nourished her throughout life.
