Robert “Bob” Biglieri of San Rafael passed away August 26, 2016. He was born in San Francisco on March 7, 1938. Bob graduated from St. Ignatius in 1955 and studied at USF. He was married to Carolyn Colman Biglieri, the love of his life, on June 23, 1962 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Bob and his father worked in the manufactur­ing business together. He was a member of the Club Italia and took great pleasure in organizing the B.E.T.T.O.R.S. Club. Bob played semi-pro baseball and coached numerous little league, senior league, & men’s fast pitch softball leagues. He was the best chef in town.

He is survived by his devoted children, Robert and Julie, cherished grandchild­ren, Lauren, Kaleigh, Brett, and Angelica. Bob is the loving brother of late Dr. Edward Biglieri, and Ned Biglieri, and loving “Uncle Big” to 17 nieces and nephews.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to Dr. Jennifer Lucas, Dr. Peter Eisenberg, and the caring staff of Marin Cancer Center. Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

A Visitation will be held at 6 pm, August 29, 2016 at San Raphael’s Catholic Church with a Rosary to follow at 7pm. A Mass of the Resurrecti­on will be held at 11:30 am, August 30, 2016 at San Raphael’s Catholic Church. Burial will be held privately at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
