Vic’s picks, Week 4

-

Raiders at Ravens (-3): First time going against Oakland this season, and it’s not that Baltimore’s 3-0 record is legit (came against teams that are 1-8). Just don’t trust the Raiders’ defense. RAVENS

Cowboys (-2) at 49ers: You gotta know when to pull a Costanza. Overrated Dallas’ defense is not good and Dez Bryant is out so … the opposite means I’m picking … COWBOYS

Colts (-2.5) vs. Jaguars: The London bridges may always fall down on NFL coaches but not on Gus Bradley this week. Because Indy stinks, too. JAGUARS

Panthers (-3) at Falcons: Atlanta is 2-1 despite not having a pass rush. Let’s see how that works against Cam Newton. PANTHERS

Browns at Washington (-7): Hue Jackson said his team is not tanking the season and Terrelle Pryor said Cleveland is winning out. Only one of those statements is true. WASHINGTON

Bills at Patriots (-6): No one knows who is playing QB for New England on Sunday. Like it matters. PATRIOTS Seahawks (-2.5) at Jets: New York’s defensive line has a big edge here. And Fitzpatrick’s not throwing six picks again. Take that to the bank. JETS

Lions (-3) at Bears: Shhh. Two picks for the price of one. Take the home underdogs as well as rookie running back Jordan Howard for your fantasy team. Drinks on you. BEARS

Titans at Texans (-4.5): Houston was embarrassed last week against losing J.J. Watt to back problems. Pride against replacing Watt with an out-of-shape Ninja, Antonio Smith … TITANS

Broncos (-3) at Buccaneers: Tampa Bay should have covered for us last week, and is in a good spot here. Denver won’t be able to run, and Semien’s not throwing four TD passes again. BUCS

Rams at Cardinals (-8): The number seems high, especially with Carson Palmer struggling this season. But … Arizona is really, really good at home. CARDINALS

Saints at Chargers (-4.5): Drew Brees can’t go 0-4, not in front of his San Diego fans. Not after hitting his favorite spot, the Old Town Mexican Cafe, on Saturday night. SAINTS

Chiefs at Steelers (-4.5): Le’Veon Bell is back for Pittsburgh and Kansas City couldn’t pull away Sunday despite grabbing six interceptions. STEELERS

Giants at Vikings (-5): Minnesota has been very good to me this year, but going against it here. Last week was an emotional win without Adrian Peterson at Carolina, and New York’s three WRs will do enough. GIANTS

Last week: 8-7-1 (20-28-1 overall) We had the Dolphins +7 on Thursday night.
