Pay to play

As a Bay Area resident, I hope to hear that the Oakland Raiders will remain in Oakland. But should the league allow the proposed move, shouldn’t Las Vegas be required to buy out what remains of Oakland’s public money loan? After all, when professional athletes and coaches are released early, their contracts are bought out by the team.
