Where: Stanford Stadium When: noon TV/Radio: Pac-12 Networks/1050 Injuries: Colorado — OG Aaron Haigler is out. Stanford — FB Daniel Marx (undisclosed) is out. RB Christian McCaffrey (undisclosed) and CB Alijah Holder (shoulder) are questionable. Story lines: Stanford has beaten Colorado five straight times, but these aren’t your father’s Buffs. They gave Michigan a battle in Ann Arbor until QB Sefo Liufau went down with an injury. And Stanford is having difficulty scoring touchdowns on offense. It looks like a showdown at high noon.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Christian McCaffrey missed the Notre Dame game with an injury and may be out again. Bryce Love filled in nicely last week, but the Buffs are a better team than the Irish. Stanford is ranked No. 125 in total offense, while the Buffaloes are No. 13 with an average of 515.3 yards per game.

In a 32-point rout of the Buffs last year, Stanford held them to 83 yards rushing. This season, the CU offensive line looks much more capable of opening holes, and RB Phillip Lindsay is just the man to punch though them. Colorado has at least one takeaway in 20 straight games, the nation’s longest streak.
