Two big vacuum cleaner companies have ended a two-year legal battle over ads that touted their prowess in suction and deep cleaning. Dyson and SharkNinja Operating LLC accused each other of violating state and federal laws through false and misleading advertising. A trial was set to begin Monday in federal court in Boston, but both sides have agreed to dismiss their claims and pay their own legal costs.
