Thomas McCormack

Tom was the beloved husband of Millicent McCormack and his treasured daughter, Kathleen McCormack, son of Bill and Marie McCormack. He was third generation from one of the San Francisco’s oldest families, a graduate of Holy Name Grammar School, attended St. Ignatius High School for three years and graduated from Lincoln High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco State University, and proudly achieved two Master Degrees at the University of San Francisco. He was a devout Catholic who projected a charisma that left everyone around him feeling richer.

He was an original entreprene­ur in the travel industry before the internet was created. He dedicated his life to his family and friends. He was preceded in life by his first daughter, Kerry Kathleen McCormack. He leaves his brother, William A. McCormack II (Marla), his loving sisters, Maureen (Howard) Sullivan, Joan McCormack, and Kathleen Henderson. He says farewell to his nieces and nephews: William, Michael, and John McCormack, John Kathleen, Elizabeth, and Christophe­r Bruno, James, Thomas, and Robert Hansen, Richard (Nerys) Sellers, William, Daniel, Henderson, and Patricia Haley. He leaves numerous cousins, especially, Bill Rogers, and 20 great nieces and nephews.

His funeral services will be held at the chapel of St. Mary’s College, Moraga, CA. where he was an Associated Director of California Field Studies extension courses for profession­al growth.

Tom’s Cousin, Monsignor James C. Kidder, will celebrate Tom’s life on Wednesday, January 11th, at 10:30 a.m. A Viewing will begin at 9:30am.
