Open Division No. 1 Woodcreek-Roseville (31-2) vs. No. 2 Sheldon-Sacramento (30-3) at Santa Clara University, 8 p.m.:

Rematch of Sac-Joaquin Section final, a controvers­ial 69-68 win for Woodcreek on a pair of last-second free throws from 6-11 junior Jordan Brown (26.3 points, 15.8 rebounds per game).

Division 1 No. 3 James LoganUnion City (27-5) vs. No. 9 Palo Alto (26-4) at Santa Clara University, 4 p.m.:

Matchup of a reborn East Bay power and a Palo Alto team that has played on the road two straight seasons due to its gym renovation.

Division 2 No. 3 Moreau Catholic-Hayward (24-9) at No. 1 St. Francis-Mountain View (21-9), 6 p.m.:

The game features three Metro Player of the Year contenders: Moreau’s Damari Milstead and Kyree Walker and St. Francis’ Logan Johnson, all guards. St. Francis guard Maurice Wilmer had 21 points in NorCal semifinal.

Division 3 No. 4 Mission (33-1) at No. 3 Vanden-Fairfield (30-3), 7 p.m.:

Vanden matches Mission’s quickness, but also boasts more length down low with four players 6-foot-5 or taller.

Division 4 No. 3 St. Patrick-St. Vincent-Vallejo (27-8) at No. 1 Palma-Salinas (25-4), 6 p.m.:

SPSV is trying to win football and basketball state titles in a span of four months. Palma is 74-15 the past three seasons.

Division 5 No. 2 Elliot ChristianL­odi (29-4) at No. 1 St. Francis-Watsonvill­e (28-2), 6 p.m.:

Jalen Valverde averages tournament-best 8.4 assists per game to go with 14.8 points for Elliot Christian.

GIRLS

Open Division No. 1 Mitty (27-2) vs. No. 7 Cardinal NewmanSant­a Rosa (30-3) at Santa Clara University, 6 p.m.: Length with Lauren Walker (6-5) and Hailey Vice-Neat (6-3) plus perhaps state Coach of the Year Monica Mertle give Newman hope against nation’s No. 5 team, which goes after its 12th NorCal title.

Division 1 No. 2 McClatchy-Sacramento (30-4) vs. No. 4 Oak Ridge-El Dorado Hills (23-10) at Santa Clara University, 2 p.m.:

A rematch of a section Division 1 semifinal, a 6254 McClatchy victory. McCatchy won the NorCal D1 title in 2015; Oak Ridge won the state D1 crown in 2010.

Division 2 No. 2 Miramonte-Orinda (30-3) at No. 1 Vanden-Fairfield (29-5), 4 p.m.:

Miramonte, led by 5-5 junior Clair Steel and 5-11 senior Ele Louie, averages 68.8 points per game and allows 39.1. Vanden, led by 5-10 senior Julia Blackshell-Fair (16.0 ppg, 9.9 rebounds), averages 68.8 and allows 39.8.

Division 3 No. 4 St. Mary’s-Berkeley (22-10) at No. 2 Campolindo-Moraga (26-6), 6 p.m.:

Rematch of an early season Cardinal Newman Tournament semifinal, won 76-65 by Campolindo. In that one, Ashley Thoms had 26 points and Haley Van Dyke 22 points and 22 rebounds for the winners. De’Janae Evans and Carolyn Gill combined for 42 for St. Mary’s.

Division 4 No. 2 St. Joseph Notre Dame-Alameda (28-5) at No. 1 West Campus-Sacramento (28-4), 6 p.m.:

Led by 5-9 freshman Malia Mastora (14.5 ppg), St. Joseph goes after its first NorCal title after two previous finals losses.

Division 5 No. 2 Woodside Priory (20-9) at No. 1 Eastside Prep-East Palo Alto (21-8), 6 p.m.:

Eastside Prep, led by guards Zion Gabriel (14.5 ppg) and Kayla Tahaafe (14.1), is after its third straight NorCal title and second straight state championsh­ip.
