Lenore Joann Verducci (LaTorre), of Hillsborou­gh, CA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Lenore is preceded in death by her husband and best friend Frank P Verducci, her brother Anthony LaTorre and her grandson Michael A Verducci.

She is survived by her brother Luciano LaTorre, children Jack (Pauline), Michael, James, Frank Jr (Monica), Marianne Verducci, and David Verducci, as well as 10 grandchild­ren and 8 great-grandchild­ren.

Lenore was born on February 20, 1927 in San Francisco to Michael La Torre (1891) from Marettimo in Sicily, Italy and Josephine Sabella La Torre of San Francisco, CA. She graduated from Galileo High School and married Frank Paul Verducci in 1946, with whom she had 6 loving children.

In 1950 the young family moved to South San Francisco and in 1977 to Hillsborou­gh. Lenore and Frank founded the first automobile dealership (Serramonte Ford) on what would later become Auto Row in Colma, CA. They were devoted members and a founding family of St. Veronica’s church. In addition to lovingly caring for her children and husband, she served as Vice President of the dealership and enjoyed gardening, ballroom dancing, cooking and traveling around the world. Lenore will be remembered for her unconditio­nal love of her family, her soft-spoken wisdom, and her faith.

Funeral services were held at St. Veronica Church on Friday, Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma. Donations to the American Heart Associatio­n are welcome.
