1919 - 2017

At rest in San Francisco at the age of 97. Dearly beloved wife of the late Daniel Gennai. Loving mother of Carole Taormina, Janet Rizzi (Lino) and Vicki Gennai(Steve Salyer). Cherished grandmother of Danielle Taormina Keenan(James), Michael Rizzi(Krista), Anthony Rizzi(Rebecca), Daniel Salyer and Alexandra Salyer. Dear great-grandmother of Jack , James and Tony Keenan. Loving daughter to the late Angelo and Jean Figone. Dear sister of the late Donald Figone. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Vivian was a native San Franciscan and a retired Pharmacist.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, especially her constant companion for 6 years Tima Diloi, her weekend caregiver Kalesita Vakamosiyaga, Phuong Phan her hospice nurse and her devoted nephew Paul Figone who has been there from the beginning.

Friends may visit Tuesday from 5pm - 8pm at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St. San Francisco. Wednesday Eulogies and a celebration of the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30am at Church of the Epiphany. Committal Services to follow at the Italian Cemetery.
