Patricia Stephenie Conner Pujol died on March 19, 2017 after a 9-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 69. Born on October 5, 1947 to Hildegard and Raymond Conner, Pat (“Tishy”) grew up in Woodland with older sisters Anna Marie, Rosemary, and JoAnn on Cleveland Street. Pat graduated from Woodland High School in 1965 and for a short time attended classes at UC Davis. At age 19 she married Jerry L. Pujol, also of Woodland, and lived most of her adult life in Napa, California. Pat relocated to Bellevue, Washington in 2016.

Pat will be remembered as someone who lived in the moment, was vibrant and vivacious. She drew people to her with her sweetness and quick wittedness. Self-proclaimed “Mother of Succulents”, she also loved zinfandel, dumplings, ice cream, and movies. Family was precious to her and she cultivated special relationships with her children and grandchildren, taking special care to know each one of them as individuals, and helping them to develop their interests.

Pat was an avid jewelry creator and collector, was a master of crochet, and created beautiful glass and ceramic mosaic pieces for the garden. She embraced color and adornment, which was her signature. Pat became an enthusiastic genealogist with her cousin Denise, whom she discovered in the course of her research.

As a young woman, she enjoyed hunting with her father Raymond and was a crack shot with a rifle or shotgun. She enjoyed fishing, being in the outdoors among friends, and found special solace in the California Redwoods.

Pat was actively involved in the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association, District 9, and served as State Secretary, played acoustic bass and sang with her family band, “In Cahoots”. She was a member of Soroptimist International of Napa for several years.

At her request, Pat’s final resting place will be among the California Redwoods.

Pat is survived by: sisters Anna Marie Dixon and Jo-Ann Young; brother in law John Young; children Cass Pujol and Lisa Pujol Boe; daughter in law Kristin Pujol, son in law H. Lars Boe; former spouse and loving friend Jerry L. Pujol; grandchildren Shelby, Sully and Lindsey Pujol, Caroline and Cameron Pujol Fong; nieces Laura Dixon, Cindy Carvalho, Janine Gnoss, nephew John Young; eight great nieces and nephews; cousins Denise and David Albo; and many other relatives and friends in North Dakota and California.
