Patricia Ann Goldsberry Taylor

Pat died peacefully in SF on March 19th, lovingly surrounded by her four daughters. Born in Los Angeles on January 13, 1934, Pat met her husband Bill Taylor in 1951, while attending Washington High. They married in 1954 and settled in SF. Pat graduated with honors from UC Berkeley in 1955, where she majored in Liberal Arts and joined the Phi Mu Sorority. Pat pursued a busy and productive life, raising four daughters and serving her community. She was a longtime member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, the San Francisco Garden Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served as Block Chair of the Leukemia Society, and President of the St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary. She worked as Director of Volunteer Services at St. Luke’s Hospital for 15 years.

Pat loved travelling, and accompanie­d Bill on many of his hunting adventures in Africa. She also enjoyed journeying with her family and friends, from rafting down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon to touring Europe and the Middle East, and cruising to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean.

Pat is survived by daughters Toni (Stuart), Terri (Vicky), Tammy (David), and Stacy (Peter), grandchild­ren Anna (Curt), Daniel, Tommy, Katelyn, Kaylee, and Joseph, her sister Jane Goldsberry Wilkes, nephew David Wilkes, and niece Wendy Robertson. Pat was predecease­d by her beloved husband Bill, son Harold Otto Taylor, mother Rosemary Hudelson Goldsberry, and father Joseph Palmer Goldsberry.

Pat died as she had lived, retaining her strong spirit and sense of humor. Services to celebrate her life at 11 am on Sat., April 1st at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 399 San Fernando Way, SF. Reception to follow. Spring or Hawaiian attire is encouraged.
