Robert Noel Clark “Bebop”

Robert Noel Clark passed away peacefully by the ocean with his dog, Dude, by his side, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Mendocino Co.
Bob was born on December 30, 1938 to Robert Langdon Clark and Andree Buchanan Clark. He was the eldest of 4 siblings. His brother Christopher P. Clark/Joan preceded him in death. His sister Sherry Sullivan, brother Michael Buchanan Clark/Ann. He was raised in San Mateo, CA. Attended St. Joseph’s Military Academy, Serra High School, USF and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He served his country in the US Army.
Beloved husband of Rosalind Maria Sabella Clark. Father of Kara Mia Sabella Clark Love/Tyler, Kelly Andree Clark, Katherine Grabowski Clark. Proud grandfather of Ella Marie Love, Dylan Noel Sayge, Daniel, David, Benjamin, Samuel Grabowski Clark. Brother in law of Luciano Sabella/Toni. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Missed by dear friends.
A drummer by trade. Bob was part of Bop City. He toured with the Diamonds, Gigs at the Fillmore, Playboy Club, Ships Lurline and the Mariposa. He was West Coast Manager for Sonor Drums and Baldwin Piano. Bob was the founder of “Duxbury Productions”. He produced the Maltese Falcon Ball, co-founder of the Fairfax Jazz Festival and Cinco de Mayo at Justin Herman Plaza to name a few. The Duxbury Trio was the house band at Sabella’s of Marin with Bryce Rohde and Tom Beeson. He traveled the world was an avid reader and excellent Boats man. Bob and Hanalei Moon would often be spotted on San Francisco Bay “just cruising”.
Rosalind and Bob spent many years on the island of Kauai. They owned a home in Princeville. They brought their passions together, opening Sabella’s in Princeville. A restaurant with great Italian Island Seafood, Music and Art.
