American Dream: What happens when a film crew blindfolds a man, gives him $25 and drops him off in some random city? This documentary follows Adam Shepard, an Orange County resident, who tries to figure out how to survive for 30 days in Nashville. Cezanne et Moi: French art and history buffs should appreciate this film about the friendship between Impressionist painter Paul Cezanne and writer Emile Zola (“J’accuse,” “Nana”). Colossal: Anne Hathaway plays a party girl who goes to the aid of her childhood friend ( Jason Sudeikis). The two go on a drinking binge, and the friend wakes up to learn there’s a big monster in Seoul. It is being billed as a sci-fi comedy. The Fate of the Furious: The latest in the franchise begins with Vin Diesel’s Dom and Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty on their honeymoon. A mysterious woman resurfaces in Dom’s life and sends the team on a big adventure. Spark: A Space Tail: In this animated tale, a teenage monkey ( Jace Norman) and his friends get together and travel through the universe to win back the planet, Bana, that was taken by General Zhong. Tommy’s Honour: A docudrama about Scottish father and son Tom and Tommy Morris, who are credited with founding modern golf. Tomorrow: “Demain” in French, this documentary, co-directed by Cyril Dion and actress Melanie Laurent, looks at solutions to climate change. Truman: In this Spanish-Argentine comedy, a Canadian man, along with his titular dog, reunites with his childhood friend as they embark on an adventure.
