Carol Lois Brown, age 72, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 when her life suddenly ended after struggling without complaint from COPD. From her San Francisco birth to death at her Lake Merced home, she was devoted to The City. Personable, inquisitive, and ever verbal, Carol embraced life to the fullest and had a one-of-a-kind ability to engage with anybody, anytime, anyplace. She will be remembered for her outgoing energy, friendly smile, unfiltered personality, affinity for purple, love of See’s candy, and the pride she took in her two Dana’s. She is survived by daughter, Dana (Thomas), granddaughter Dana Jane, siblings Lewis, Joan, Charles, many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and their children.
