Charles “Chuck” is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Jean Marie. Devoted father to Michael (Donna) McGuigan, Catherine (Ed) Luzzi, Matthew (Valerie) McGuigan, Mark (Catherine) McGuigan, Virginia McGuigan, Christopher (Bianka) McGuigan, Julia (Robert) Gauci; grandfather to Kyle, Ryan, Kimberly, Barbara, Danny, Tony, Connor, Caity, Rachel, Bridget, Kelly, Kevin, Alex, Andrew, Jaime, Nikki, Joey and Riley; and great-grandfather to Troy.

He was born in E. St. Louis, Illinois, and moved to San Francisco as a young boy. After graduating from Commerce High School and the University of San Francisco, he entered into the US Army. Chuck was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Angels in Burlingame. Chuck has been a CPA, Certified Public Accountant, for over 50 years.

Chuck loved his family with his whole heart, always doing for them all he could. Being raised in San Francisco, he was a loyal GIANTS fan and a Season Ticket Holder for many years. His favorite passion, baseball, will live in all of us forever. Anyone who had him as a coach, watched him coach, or listened to his loud-yet instructional-voice at the field was truly blessed and inspired with the knowledge he instilled on the field and in the stands.

He will always be remembered with love and laughter for his generous nature, kind heart and strong family values.

Friends and family are invited to the Rosary on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 7pm. held at Our Lady of Angels Church at 1721 Hillside Drive in Burlingame. Services to be held at Our Lady of Angels on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 am with the Military send off and final blessing at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd, Colma.

Donations in Chuck’s name may be offered to The Capuchin Franciscan at Our Lady of Angels Church or, if you prefer, to a charity of your choice.
