Anne R. Dick (née Anne Browning Williams) passed away peacefully in her home in Pt. Reyes Station, California on Friday, April 28, 2017. She was born in West Englewood, N.J. on January 27, 1927, to Hazel Adele Johnson and Arthur Williams II. She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended Washington University. Her older brothers, Arthur Williams III and Cmdr. Robert Williams, USN, predecease­d her. She was also predecease­d by her first husband, Richard J. Rubenstein, and her exhusband, Philip K. Dick. She is survived by her daughters Hatte (Rubenstein) Blejer, Tandy (Rubenstein) Ford and Laura (Dick) Leslie and grandchild­ren Aaron and Chris Brown, Evan Reano, Ariella and Mike Blejer, Kimberly and Dave Ford, and Lisa and Justin Coelho, as well as three great grandchild­ren, Lily Coelho, Aeton Schey and Max Brown, her sons-in-law, David, Mark, and Russ and granddaugh­ter-in-law, and dear nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Jayne (Rubenstein) Reano predecease­d her. She is also survived by her long time assistant and honorary family member, Craig Bailey, and friends around the world. She was a highly respected craftwoman, founder of Anne R. Dick Jewelry, which she ran from 1962 to 2008. She also published three books of non-fiction and 7 books of poetry, including Search for Philip K. Dick and Anne in the Twentieth Century.
