It’s not all giggles and guffaws at Colossal Clusterfest. With production assistance from Superfly and Another Planet Entertainment, the team behind San Francisco’s Outside Lands music festival, Comedy Central’s three-day variety show also features an impressive musical lineup with more than a dozen acts ready to step in and give your booty a workout when your sides hurt too much from laughing. Here are some of the acts you don’t want to miss.

Ice Cube

Sure, Mr. Cube has demonstrated his impeccable comedic skills in blockbusters like “Friday,” “Ride Along” and “Anaconda” (it was supposed to be funny, right?). But he’s also a formidable rapper who rose to fame as a member of N.W.A. and can still get heads bobbing with hip-hop classics like “It Was a Good Day” and “No Vaseline.” 8 p.m. Friday, June 2. Colossal Stage.

Tegan and Sara

Not only are they everyone’s favorite lesbian identical-twin singer-songwriters from Canada, but on their eighth studio album, “Love You to Death,” Tegan and Sara go straight for the pop jugular. Those guest spots with Taylor Swift and Katy Perry clearly did not go amiss. 7 p.m. Sunday, June 4. Colossal Stage.

Vince Staples

The Long Beach rapper’s songs may deal with the grim realities of life on the edge of America, but Vince Staples delivers them with such ferocity that he’s drawn comparisons to Kendrick Lamar. The 24-year-old star, who came up as an associate of the Odd Future crew, is a festival veteran who has logged appearances at Noise Pop and Outside Lands, winning over even the most skeptical hipsters. 6:15 p.m. Saturday, June 3. Colossal Stage.

Princess

How much does Maya Rudolph, of “Saturday Night Live” and “Bridesmaids” fame, love Prince? So much that she and her college friend Gretchen Lieberum (the two went to UC Santa Cruz) have fronted a cover band paying tribute to the Great Purple One since 2012. Their songs are so spot-on that if you close your eyes, well, OK, it doesn’t exactly sound like the real thing, but it’s the best anyone could hope for. 5:30 p.m., Sunday, June 4. Colossal Stage.
