Paul George

The Pacers’ forward reportedly has told Indiana that he plans to become a free agent during the summer of 2018 and hopes to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. George, who is from Southern California and went to Fresno State, hasn’t requested a trade, but wanted to be up front with Indiana, according to the Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski. For the Lakers, who are presumed to be taking Lonzo Ball in the draft Thursday, landing George would be a big step toward luring other front-line players as Magic Johnson tries to rebuild the team.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

The teenage goalkeeper had fake money thrown at him during his country’s Under-21 European Championship opener against Denmark in Krakow, Poland, by fans upset by his decision not to renew his contract at AC Milan. As well as fake dollar bills being thrown at Donnarumma during Italy’s 2-0 victory over Denmark, a banner emblazoned with “Dollarumma” was displayed. Donnarumma, 18, has made more than 70 firstteam appearances for Milan since his debut in 2015.
